Who is the Government?
The Government is that body of people entrusted with the responsibility to govern a country.
This body runs the country through its three respective organs. The Executive, Legislature and Judiciary.
The Executive is responsible for running the day to day affairs of the State by implementing the laws and policies through its various departments. The Executive is as well responsible for maintaining peace and Security.

The Legislature on the other hand is responsible for making policies, approving budgets, making laws and putting government to accountability.
The Judiciary is the body which is the reference point for the laws of the State. They interpret the Constitution which is the highest governing Instrument. The Judiciary also implement the law by punishing law breakers and enforcement of the law.
All these three bodies with separated powers make up the Government of any state In modern days.
However, this three bodies have checks and balance according to which principle they would not abuse their powers.
Come to ask yourself this question. How does this three bodies carry out their responsibilities effectively?
The answer is as simple and clear as daylight. This bodies depend on what we called TAX. This tax helps them to maintain the smooth running of the state.
This tax is paid by the larger body that puts the government in power.
The reason behind taxation is for government to better the lives of the citizens through providing security, building institution for learning, making access to health easy, creating a food self sufficient and a stable economy.
But this is the irony of the day.
Security is abstract. People's lives are in danger. There is no quality education however, the government send their children to better schools on tax monies paid by the citizens. No proper health facilities yet, the government have the best health access in abroad through tax payers money. Hikes of prices of commodities in markets yet, the government have no worry in purchasing such while using tax payers money.
The level of corruption and mismanagement of public funds has become a hobby in past decades.
This has defeated the purpose of democracy that governments claim to practice.
How can the populace put an end to such practices and incompetences?
